These all sound like valid bugs, but should be filed against the appropriate
desktop components or they're going to get lost here.  I've updated the keymaps
in Rawhide, so if someone knowledgable could verify that (1) the right keymap
is set up by anaconda, and (2) the console/X font packages that are installed
are correct it would be helpful.  Thanks.
