HP has always contributed upstream to the kernel for ia64.  Also others
at HP (not myself personally) have been closely involved in Debian which
is why there has been an Ubuntu on ia64 in the past (Ubuntu is based on
Debian).  I don't think we have been directly involved with Ubuntu.
