Yes. Switching to discrete graphics in the BIOS works fine. Make sure
you have the ati and radeonhd drivers installed - works fine.

It even works if I leave on 'OS detection' and 'switchable graphics' (I
forget to change the option sometimes). Although it does get mighty hot,
I don't believe the GPU thermal management driver is very good, as both
GPUs are running.
