2.4.22 kernel source for RedHat 8?

Actually, the question becomes quite different.  You could have tried
your luck with building a fedora kernel src rpm (being 2.4.22) on your
rh8 machine, and switch off NPTL.  For 2.4.26, however, you'll have to
do all the work on your own.
