Self-Introduction: Your Name Here

Dear Fedora Legacy Community,

	As my current distro of choice (Fedora Core 2) is
being transfered to
Fedora Legacy, I would like to take an active role in
maintaining this
fine distro. So, here is my self-introduction. I hope
no one minds I'm deviating
from the point form shown on the FL Self Introduction
page.

	My name is Jesse Smith and I am currently a resident
of Annapolis Royal (a
_very_ small town) in Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm
currently leading a new company,
called Creative Computer Solutions, which deals with
computer repair, web page design
and custom software solutions.

	At this time I would like to offer my services in
working on the QA
portion of package management for Fedora Core 2. I
have a desktop PC which I
can use for the testing of new source/rpm packages and
would like to give back to
this community as I feel I shall be using your
expertise while FC2 is being maintained.

	At this time, I suppose I should give a little
background on my previous work.
I have, in no particular order, coded for, submitted
patches and performed tech support for the
PhatLinux distro (http://phatlinux.com). I've also
spent over a year coding for the Age of Legacy
MUD (telnet://ageoflegacy.com:3000). In the past, I
have taught workshops for high school
students on the basics of computer hardware and
software. A number of years ago I worked
for Nova Data Systems (now Compu Quote) which writes
home & auto insurance software.
At this time I consider myself very familiar with
Linux system administration, shell
scripting and the following programming languages:
C/C++, Pascal, Java (and Java Script) and BASIC.
