LDAP Auth

An update ....
Tonight I updated my system with the Kernel and the initscript patches
['kernel-2.4.22-1.2129.nptl', 'kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2129.nptl',
'initscripts-7.42.2-1']. I then rebooted, and I was suddenly able to log in
with an AD based login ID! Not sure what is going on here, but the
combination of the above mentioned packages and the testing nss_ldap rpm
(nss_ldap-207-6.i386.rpm) seems to be a winning combination. Explanation
anyone? -- Per

Hi Jens, There are several of us that are having this problem. With the
nss_ldap rpm found under testing directory, I can authenticate against the
AD, but for some reason the PAM integration doesn't work with "LDAP" in the
nsswitch.conf file. I've filed a bug report in Mozilla and I'm waiting
patiently (wish there was something I could do) since this is holding up my
deployment of FC1. -- Per

Joseph,

Did you ever manage to sort out your problem with nss_ldap on Fedora Core1 -
I read the thread, but can't see if you actually managed to get your problem
resolved.

I look forward to your response.

Regards
Jens
