I added these lines to my /etc/yum.conf file

[flash]
name=Macromedia Flash
baseurl=http://sluglug.ucsc.edu/macromedia/apt/fedora/$releasever/


Then I only had to do:

yum install flash-plugin


to install the plugin in both my mozilla and firebird
installation. http://sluglug.ucsc.edu/macromedia/site_ucsc.html has more
details on all this.
