Firstboot loses the mouse pointer?

Hi,

Installing Fedora Core 1 on my Thinkpad T20 recently, when the firstboot
screen came up, I lost access to my mouse pointer. Going thru the
firstboot screen via the keyboard (tab's, and enter's), I got my mouse
pointer back when GDM started.

Is this a known error? There were two reports on fedora-test-list, but
I've not heard back on this. Does this happen for others? Or is it a
Thinkpad issue?
