Re: Yum Update

This isn't going to help with mplayer I'm afraid....
it does stop yum failing due to faulty headers that
the download.fedora.us site provides though:

swapped

[fedora-os]
name=Fedora OS
baseurl=http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/0.95/i386/yum/os

for

[duke2]
name=duke2
baseurl=http://mirror.dulug.duke.edu/pub/yum-repository/redhat/0.95/i386

which allowed me to do yum update.... which did
upgrade all sorts of core apps:

OTOH yum install mplayer still results in

.package mplayer needs libaa.so.1 (not provided)
package mplayer needs libdv.so.2 (not provided)
package mplayer needs liblzo.so.1 (not provided)

It looks like aalib ( which provides libaa.so.1 ) is
still missing from the repositories.
