I don't remember doing so. Maybe an install of an RPM did this... This
could be unrelated, but there is another small problem: when new mail
arrives, I have gkrellm do this: play mail.au. When XMMS is playing,
the 'play' command is postponed until XMMS stops playing. XMMS uses
eSound output.

No, it's a completely clean install.
