The only release made last week was Fedora Core 2 Test 2 and some people
reported that the isos didnt boot... If you just want to have a stable
linux release , download the latest stable fedora release , which is
Fedora Core 1 , available at
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/1/i386/iso/ or
at any of the mirror sites mentioned in
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html .
But , if you want a really cutting edge distro , then fell free to test
FC2 Test 2, but we warned that it can destroy your computer or make you
loose your sanity ;) If you reallly want to install FC2T2 , grab the
boot.img file from the images directory of FC2 Test 1 , burn it , and
when it gets to the fedora logo with a text prompt , swap the boot cd
with the cd1 of FC2. Then press enter and it will probably begin the
install (it's a dirty trick I didnt try , because I've used the DVD
image to install).
