usb disks and sticks mapped to scsi devices.

it's a scsi emulation layer to keep things simple, as far as i know.  you'll also notice that ide cd-rw drives are listed as scsi devices.

anyone know if firewire drives are the same?  i've never tried them, but i'm guessing it'd be the same setup.
