logrotate naming of files by date

Hi

Is there possible to make logrotate name the files by date? We'd like to
keep archives of logs named as yyyy-mm-dd.

I don't find any way to do it. Are there any reliable tools to use with
it?
I've found this which sounds useful, but has no homepage and doesn't
seem maintained
