Can't print from applications

    It's a bit fuzzy without diving in to check (my Linux machine is 12 
miles away in my home office), but as I recall, even after defining a 
real live no-shit remote printer as the default printer, I still had to 
define it explicitly to Mozilla and OpenOffice before they would 
recognize (or print to) it.
