Yes, it's possible. There are several ways to do this depending on how 
you want to share the files. Samba, NFS or FTP will all work with OSX. 
I'd recommend an up-to-date OSX (Panther) for Samba, earlier versions 
had odd or inconvenient Samba behavior.
