Install on i2o (either FC2 or FC2.90) rel notes didnt work

Is there a reason why you don't use "modprobe" instead of "insmod"?
Modprobe will install any prerequisite modules as well, which may help.

Does anything appear in /var/log/messages when you try to load the module?
