Core 2 X server login Problem

Hey everyone!

I'm running Fedora Core 2, Desktop kernel 2.6-7, nVidia latest drivers.

This is never happened before....

When i try to log in at a graphical boot (init 5) it says:

" There already appears to be a X server running on display :0. Should I 
try another display number?"

There are 2 options YES and NO.

If I click "NO" it brings up the same message. If I click "YES" It 
starts a new X server with the message:

" The specified display was busy so this server was started on display :1"

this keeps on happening....I reached display :6 at one point, with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated!
