I think moblinux just wants KDE to appear as the default desktop AFTER he  
logs in. The Desktop Switching Tool or switchdesk allows that, at least on  
my system. I recently went through a phase where I was switching back and  
forth for a couple of weeks... But maybe I didn't understand the question.
