Hum... if this was true life would be a happier place.  But did you read about 
the libpng vulns last week?  Just by putting a crafted .png graphic on a 
website you browse your machine can be owned with your user credentials.  Not 
only can a hacker then usually escalate to root easily on an out of date 
system, but on most sinlge user systems all your valuable files are deletable 
from the user account -- not OS files but your actual documents, far more 
valuable to the user than OS files.

It's not hard so stay up to date with the nightly yum service, especially as 
you are on a highspeed connection at the uni.
