www.linuxprinting.org has all the information you need. I recommend you
use the printer manager to setup your printer (guess he can do PS2 as
well as PCL) and enhance it with the HP PPD file:

The PPD file has to be placed gzipped into /usr/share/cups/model/. Then
you can choose the PPD within the printer setup dialog.
