Forcing Full-Duplex on e100 FC2?

Hello.
I have searched the archives and found nothing, so please forgive me if
this has already been answered.

I am trying to get my NIC to force to Full Duplex.  All google seems to
tell me to do is to make changes to /etc/modules.conf.

Perhaps I have gone insane, but I don't even see any such file in /etc.

I am running kernel-2.6.7-1.494.2.2

dmesg reports the following:
