VPN connection

Thanks, Alexander. The problem is that I'm a bit of a
newbie with this stuff. If, say I wanted to connect to
a network, for example vpn.ic.ac.uk  what steps would
I have to take? What do I have to install, or do I
just have to alter configurations somewhere?
