HELP: making static routes permanent between reboots in fedora core 2

No, better don't do this. rc.local is absolutely the wrong place for
such kind of things. Why? Just one main reason is that rc.local is in no
way bound to the functions of the network init script and the other
scripts under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/.
