Local Printing

Is there an equivalent of "lprint" in Fedora (or linux in general)?

Basically, how do I print to my local printer when I am logged into a
Fedora machine via telnet, ssh, serial terminal, etc?

I know on SCO, you could use the "lprint" command. There must be some
equivilent, I just dont know what it is called, or how to configure it.

I have looked at something called "tprint" found on Sourceforge, but it
seems very complicated.

Anyone have any solutions or recommendations?
