Any fix for bug 128154 yet?

We just got hit by the pty error in the fedora 2 2.6.7-1.494.2.2 smp 
kernel. It is on the
bugzilla list (#128154) but I do not see any resolution there at this 
time. We have installed
the 2.6.8-1.521 kernel but have not been able to confirm if it has the fix.

Does anyone know if there is a fix yet? We are running fedora 2 on our 
production file servers
and need a stable and reliable kernel.
