Swsusp and new kernels

Hi all,
I have been unable to compile the last 3 or 4 versions
of the kernel with swsuspend enabled. The error
message is:

arch/i386/power/built-in.o(.text+0x1e0): In function
`resume':
: undefined reference to `swsusp_pg_dir'
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1

Have anyone of you got rid of this problem?
