xorg DPMS bug work-around

So that's what's causing it! I was wondering why my display would
suddenly go blank even though I was moving the mouse. One question
though. do you have an nVidia card? At home I have a GeForce 4, but at
work my machine has a radeon 9600 and that machine doesn't have this
blanking problem.
