You shouldn't have to in this case. Try:

cd directory/with/the/jar/file/you/whish/to/run
java -jar install-mrpostman.jar

Does that work? If not, have you tried using j2sdk 1.4? In other words,
are you certain that this MrPostman thing runs under the 1.5 beta?
