sendmail howto?

As root:
sendmail -bp
sendmail -v -q

The first lists the Q contents. The second sends it.
Also, create a test file:
[summer at dugong ~]$ cat >testmail
to: john at test.lan
subject: nosense

No sense in this:-))

[summer at dugong ~]$ /usr/sbin/sendmail-t <testmail -v
bash: /usr/sbin/sendmail-t: No such file or directory # Whoops
[summer at dugong ~]$ /usr/sbin/sendmail -t <testmail -v
john at test.lan... Connecting to [127.0.0.1] via relay...
220 dugong.demo.room ESMTP Sendmail 8.13.1/8.13.1; Wed, 1 Dec 2004 12:28:08 
+0800
>>> EHLO dugong.demo.room
250-dugong.demo.room Hello localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1], pleased to meet
