DON'T do it this way! Use the hotplug facilities that are built into the 
kernel! Simply add the appropriate line to your updfstab.conf and the 
next time usb-storage is loaded (you MUST unload usb-storage if it is 
loaded for those changes to take effect) a device entry line will be 
added to /etc/fstab for you.
