Problem with CD mounts in FC3

All of a sudden my CD's are not being mounted read only. This just 
started after the last udev release. If I add the ro option to my fstab 
things are fine. But once a reboot happens the ro option is gone.

I went out and grabbed a newer version of udev from:

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/1547100/com/udev-042-1.i386.rpm.html

This did not solve the issue. Anyone else seeing this?
