[FC2] CD writer problem

I recently did a clean install of FC2 after having used FC1 on this 
computer. Using the CD writer worked with no problem on FC1 using ide-scsi.

Now, I want to burn the FC3 CDs but I just found I can't and haven't 
been able to find a solution after googling and trying various 
combinations of the cdrecord command. This system is up to date with yum 
updates.

This is what I get when I do a scanbus
