Can't Read VPD Keys (nForce3 Problem)

I installed a Linksys NIC and the VPD problem, as expected, went away.  
No more "Can't find VPD keys" message and I am able to boot into init 3.

It's a shame that the MB makers did not pay enough attention to the 
on-board ethernet card.
