sound driver 5.1/6 channel

I have a sound card built-in asus motherboard p4p800se
the FC3 recognize it as :

this information I has collected in /etc/modprobe.conf

the asus website says: ADI AD1985 SoundMAX 6-channel CODEC ( 
http://usa.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=P4P800%20SE&langs=09 )
and has a download page for this card, but I ocurr many error when 
compile. (

but all applications in kde, including xine, doesn't work with 
5.1/6channel audio system, and this card support this feature.

how do to emulate 5.1/6ch and dolby 5.1 ?
