FC3 Desktop - Paints very slow - Buttons show only on mouse move

Hello All,

I am new to linux and got FC3 successfully installed
(Whoohoo!!) with dual boot on my desktop.

However when i boot into linux, the display is very
very bad. (I tried all env's KDE... and all) I could
see the menu bar buttons only when i move my mouse. If
i open any dialog box, I do not see the text - also I
see graphics only if I move my mouse on top of them.
When I move the window around, I could see the window
frame dragging itself across. 

How can I solve this problem. This is rendering my
linux installation really really difficult to use. Any
ideas, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
