Some sites don't work with Firefox (FC3)?

Dave,  
   I encountered the same problem and googled,yahooed
around and I found this site 
http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28228&highlight=acpi%3Don
I don't know if it is well documented or not, but it
worked.
