Suggestions for updating to a newer OpenSSL

James are you saying that they are doing the same thing that they used
to do, where they would update the code but not the rev #. The versions
on the site are

openssl-0.9.7a-40.i686.rpm  and  openssl096b-0.9.6b-19.i386.rpm 


did you build the straight source or an src-rpm ?
