kde 3.2 unhappy: kde messed up my menues in gnome

Being the originator of this thread, let me start by saying, I came here
looking for an answer, not meaning to start a windowing environment
jihad. More importantly, I figured out the answer to my own question.
So, if anyone else is frustrated with having a 50 or 60 useless menu
items added to their gnome menu (by kde), here is the solution: just
remove the /usr/share/applnk/System/ScreenSavers/
