Nothing. The tail -f will echo what gets added to the log as it gets
added. Open another terminal window and do the 'service postfix restart'
and see what happens in the window with the tail command.

Just out of curiosity, how are you installing postfix? (Hopefully with
an rpm -i or rpm -U....and not from a .tar file)
