Running Anaconda in text mode

Success!  8-)

It turns out that with the Mandrake 9.1 Install disk selecting F1 allows 
for selecting a TEXT install. With the installation directly from the 
ISO files (as I happen to be doing) there is no similar option. BUT... 
   As a last ditch effort, I simply added "text" to the end of the line 
including things like "acpi=on" in lilo.conf. Bingo! With the next 
reboot, the installation began in text mode. Fedora installed perfectly.
