Make sure you do an apt-get update first to make sure your local idea of what 
is available in the repository is up to date.

Here is what I see on a test run of that...

[root at fastcat ov511-2.25]# apt-get install 
kernel-module-alsa#1.0.0-0.rc2.1.fr_2.4.22_1.2135.nptl

I don't know how alsaconf works, but my expectation is that it won't work 
without the kernel modules installed.
