so, i've been rebooting my machine, and same effect: mouse does no move...
after dis- and reconnecting the hid-interface, the following messages have
been printed in dmesg:

hub.c: new USB device 01:0a.0-2, assigned address 5
input: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [MCT Corp. PS/2 - USB Interface Adaptor] on
usb1:5.0
input: USB HID v1.10 Mouse [MCT Corp. PS/2 - USB Interface Adaptor] on
usb1:5.1
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed dev 5 rqt 128 rq 6 len 9 ret -110

whats the problem?????
