The Blackbox rpm at FreshRPMS was build with without nls. Compiling 0.65
from source on FC1 fails even without nls support (see also
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=855440&group_id=40696&atid=428680).

You might consider Fluxbox (a fork of Blackbox) http://www.fluxbox.org/.
