I/O error on cdrom

Hi all,
After unsuccessfully trying to open a cd-rom on Nautilus (I suppose it
should be auto-mounted), I found the device was NOT mounted, and didn't
manage to mount it manually (see terminal msgs below).
I don't suppose it's a HW problem, since the machine dual-boots with
Windows - where the same media can be read normally on same drive.
Any hints ?
