shutdown & kernel

Hi!

The default kernel is set in /etc/grub.conf (link to 
/boot/grub/grub.conf) with the parameter

default

If the kernel you want to boot by default is the first one listed in 
/etc/grub.conf then this parameter should be set to:

default=0
