Neither am I, since there's no religion here.

However, I feel driven to really help people and instruct them on how to
do it with Free Software, so they then can help their friends as well
without fearing 'black helis' ;)

You can teach them to get what they want to work to work without
requiring non-Free Software for almost any task (and viewing PDFs is
certainly not impaired, unless the documents are broken with DRM, which
is Evil[tm] by definition).
