Best route is.. Add a NIC to the system (one that is supported) and then
get either an ethernet DSL modem or better a DSL router (With a built in
modem)..
First the NIC if you are on a tight budget then pretty much anything
with a realtek chip should work fine.. Otherwise most of the name brands
like 3com or Intel are good bets..
As for the DSL router be careful of the things called a "broadband
firewall router" or "DSL firewall".. make sure it has a built in DSL
modem.. The easy way to check is to look at the ports on the device, if
there are only ethernet ( RJ45 ) ports then its not what you are after,
you want a device that has 1 or 4 ethernet ports and one DSL ( RJ11 ) port..
