Still can't make yum.conf to install mplayer from livna

Okay, the reason it won't work is because it can't find the rpm for
libpostproc, as the error message says. The way to fix this is to find
that file and install it manually, or find a server[s] that has/have all
the files you need. Now I notice a lot of the alternate servers are
still commented out in your yum.conf file. One of these servers may have
the file and enable you to install mplayer.

What I would do first is comment out the "testing" and "unstable"
servers so you are only getting good rpms that will work and are not
full of bugs.

Next, for the first server, Fedora Core 2 Base, enable the primary
server. You have all the mirrors, but the main server is commented out.

Uncomment and activate the following alternate servers: freshrpms,
dries, newrpms, atrpms-stable, and atrpms-good.

Now you will have a larger file database to choose from, so mplayer
should be able to install from one of the servers. It will take longer
for yum to search all the servers, so you can activate & deactivate
different servers as necessary, or create different yum.conf files to
accomplish the same purpose. Then you just specify which one to use in
the command line.

yum -c yum.all.conf or yum -c yum.livina.conf

Good luck!
