I have gotten this but wither at random with the screen still there and the mouse moving [like a freeze] or just black screens and the complete freeze of KVM.

Subject:	keyboard freezes?
Has anyone else seen situation under xorg where the
keyboard would stop responding until a reboot? I was
running the 2.6.6-1.403smp kernel under FC2 with
glibc-2.3.3-31 overnight and when I came in the machine
responded to mouse clicks and movements but the keyboard
was dead. I try unplugging and replugging the keyboard
which did seem to cause kernel messages that the
keyboard was found. However even exiting out to the
login screen (which should restart gdm) didn't solve
the problem. Only a hard reboot brought back the keyboard.
I have since upgraded to the 2.6.6-1.406smp kernel and
the new xorg-x11-6.7.0-3 hoping that will help prevent
this problem from occuring again.
                          Jack
