Updateing/Installing

Thanks to all for the help! 

Renamed .local & .conf as suggested 99.9% successful I think I know whats 
causing the 'menu spewing' its, custom links.
I think (but I could be wrong) FC 2 is trying to put them were it thinks 
they're supposed to go but then duplicates entries in different locations 
just to be sure!

Got back some items that were missing (so that's a bonus) so I am now a happy 
bunny.
